Mark your calendar and plan to attend the first annual symposium on 'Microbial Resistance to Antibiotics' on September 18, 2011 at SSR Medical College, Belle Rive, Mauritius. This symposium is organized by SSR Medical College, Mauritius and International Association of Medical and Biomedical Researchers.

The theme of this symposium is selected on the basis of WHO theme for this year “Antimicrobial resistance: no action today, no cure tomorrow”. The experts will discuss the emerging antimicrobial resistance problem and its global spread in the community which is not a new problem but is becoming more dangerous nowadays. Urgent and consolidated efforts are needed worldwide to avoid regression to the pre-antibiotic era.
